Role Overview:

As a Sociology Academic Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in assisting secondary school students studying sociology. Your guidance and mentorship will empower students to excel academically, develop critical thinking skills, and explore the fascinating world of sociology.

Responsibilities:

• Individualised Support: Work closely with students, providing personalized academic guidance and mentorship.
• Subject Expertise: Assist students in understanding sociological concepts, theories, and research methods.
• Study Skills: Help students improve study techniques, time management, and note-taking abilities.
• Feedback and Assessment: Provide constructive feedback on assignments, essays, and projects.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers to enhance the sociology curriculum and address student needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Sociology or a related field.
• Passion for Education and Mentorship.
• Strong Communication Skills.
• Empathy and Patience.
