Reward & Compensation Analyst

Location: Oxford City Centre (Hybrid working, 3 days in the office, 2 from home)

Salary: £47-52,000 per annum plus benefits

Our highly successful and growing client is seeking a competent Reward & Compensation Analyst, with a financial and analytical approach, to join their newly formed Reward Team in Oxford.

As the Reward & Compensation Analyst, you’ll be a key player in shaping the reward strategy and supporting our talented workforce. Reporting directly to the Head of Reward and Benefits, your role will involve a unique blend of financial acumen, business partnership, and operational understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning:

  • Collaborate with HR leaders to develop and manage the annual budget for the department.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial forecasts, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Conduct variance analysis and present financial insights to HR and Finance leadership.

Business Partnering:

  • Act as a strategic advisor to HR leaders, offering financial insights to inform decision-making.
  • Partner with HR teams on financial aspects related to talent acquisition, employee development, and retention initiatives.
  • Attend HR meetings to stay informed about departmental priorities and challenges.

Headcount Planning & Forecasting:

  • Responsible for long-term forecasting, metrics planning, and headcount projections.
  • Create both budgeted and forecasted headcount outlook, a critical driver of operational expenses (OpEx).
  • Own end-to-end detailed tracking and control processes for forecasting headcount.
  • Deliver periodic executive-level updates on headcount status, insights, and trends to guide business decisions.

Salary Benchmarks:

  • Prepare global salary benchmarking survey submissions, including data collection, role matching, and analysis of survey reports.
  • Contribute to informed decisions by providing insights on salary trends and market competitiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, reward analysis, and business partnering.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
