Recruitment Administrator
** FTC until March 2024**
I am working with a client in Fareham who are seeking a recruitment administrator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the hiring process at an organisation. They work with various stakeholders, such as managers, HR professionals, and candidates, to ensure that everyone is working together effectively to find the best possible candidates for open positions. As a recruitment administrator may also be responsible for other tasks related to staffing, such as developing job descriptions or writing up employment contracts.
Duties Include:
- Reviewing applications and resumes to determine qualifications and relevance to job requirements
- Interviewing candidates to assess their qualifications and fit with company culture
- Coordinating background checks, drug tests, and other required screenings for new hires
- Preparing regular reports on recruitment activities, including status updates, cost analysis, and recommendations
- Conducting reference checks to verify employment history and qualifications of prospective employees
- Helping managers with interviewing techniques to ensure that all candidates are treated fairly
- Reviewing job applications to ensure that they are complete and comply with company guidelines
- Coordinating the hiring process from start to finish, including scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and arranging offers of employment
- Processing DBS Checks for candidates and employees
Key Skills
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
- At least one year of experience in recruitment or HR administration
- Knowledge of recruitment software and tools, such as applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and social media platforms
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information and data
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
