PHP Developer, Leicester

Trinity House Group are looking to recruit a PHP Developer for a leading Electrical retail business based in Leicester. They are predominantly known for the retail of white goods but have now expanded their offering across other electronics. They became AM listed in 2021, and now want to double their revenue to £200m over the next 5 years’, with the ultimate goal being £500m. They have seen some exponential growth due to their capacity improvements, margin management and installation service.

As a PHP Developer within the business you will be tasked with involvement in the full software development lifecycle designing and developing new PHP Web applications and enhancing existing applications, and there will also be maintenance and support of existing applications, working closely with key business stakeholders to ensure the systems meet the business needs.

Role Requirements

  • System architecture and design
  • Experience in software development
  • Strong PHP programming SKILLS
  • SQL knowledge
  • 2-5 years’ software development experience

Any experience in the following is also beneficial:

  • Cloud Computing in particular AWS
  • JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • APIs and system integration
  • Test automation

The salary on offer is £40,000 per year, though this is negotiable and is dependent on experience.
