Our Client is a renowned supplier of building products to trade customers across the UK and Europe.

They are now seeking a creative and versatile B2B Marketing Executive to join one of their specialist businesses based in the Warrington area to support the Commercial Manager in designing and developing robust and measurable marketing campaigns to drive the growth of their brand.

The Role

Reporting to: Commercial Manager

Main Responsibilities

  • Work independently and as part of a team to develop, support and implement marketing activities in line with the Marketing strategy and overall business objectives.
  • Support the Commercial Manager in developing, coordinating and producing all marketing activities
  • Support the Commercial Manager in implementing and launch of new marketing materials, communications and initiatives
  • Create and publish marketing material with clear and accurate information i.e. product literature, product installation guides, campaign-specific literature and collateral, case studies, website content, social media content etc.
  • Maintain and update existing marketing collateral and assets on an ongoing basis
  • Work with the Digital team to ensure that the company website is maintained and up to date.
  • Take responsibility for social media content creation and output
  • Liaise with the Procurement Manager and/or Suppliers to obtain and clarify accurate and relevant information on new and existing products
  • Communicate regularly with key stakeholders to ensure awareness of new initiatives and updates and changes to existing marketing collateral, campaigns and activities.
  • Work closely and build relationships with external service providers i.e. design and print agencies, other platform providers such as ShowPad and audio marketing etc.
  • Think strategically about customers and the market to deliver innovative and value-add propositions
  • Analyse and identify opportunities for change and continuous improvement within the team - challenge existing practices
    Provide administrative support in the creation of the marketing initiatives; collating the associated data and producing reports

The Candidate

Essential skills required include:

  • Previous marketing experience in a similar B2B role - ideally 2-3 years
  • Understanding of key marketing principals
  • All-round B2B experience in both On and Offline marketing
  • Understanding and experience of creating social media content
  • Strong copywriting abilities
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience briefing agencies in the creation of literature, digital, PR, events and exhibitions
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

  • Self-motivated with high energy and resilience, who can understand a brief and translate it into meaningful end results
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, who establishes and maintains strong relationships within the business and externally
  • A rational thinker who can manage deadlines and adapt to meet changing priorities
  • A team player who is flexible, adaptable and receptive to new ideas
    Displays a willingness to challenge and 'push-back’ on existing practices and ideas

Location/Area Warrington (ideally within an hour commute- Hybrid working available)

Working Hours 8.00 - 17.00 Monday to Friday

Salary £30K (Negotiable depending on experience)
