Our client, a leading cruise line, offers unique itineraries on elegant ships to showcase the globe's most fascinating destinations. They have an opening for a Marketing Executive in a 12-month contract. You would be supporting our client's growth and development through consumer and trade marketing plans.

Marketing Executive - What will I be doing?

• Assist in developing and executing print and digital marketing strategies for EMEA regions.
• Coordinate production of marketing collateral, including direct mail, emails, flyers, and advertisements.
• Manage freelance teams and external suppliers for design and translation services.
• Coordinate advertising campaigns for trade and consumer publications.
• Support copywriting for trade and consumer emails.
• Manage trade email communications from briefing to deployment.
• Assist in campaign management, proofing assets, and reporting.
• Liaise with international teams and third-party suppliers to ensure efficient creation processes.
• Assist in budget management and reconciliation.
• Support organization and delivery of consumer and trade events.
• Create and deliver social media content for trade and consumer audiences.
• Represent our client at internal and external events.

Marketing Executive - What experience do I need?

• It is essential that you have experience as a Marketing executive previously - ideally within the travel industry but this is not essential.
• You will need experience of both on and offline marketing.
• University degree in Marketing or Communications preferred.
• Experience working with internal and external suppliers.
• Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Marketing Executive - What else do I need to know?

This is a 12-month contract - it is based in a hybrid capacity in their lovely offices in Southampton 3 days a week with a Monday and Friday at home. You will be given 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, the salary is £30k and there is free parking. This business is a large global travel organisation so there is potential for other opportunities down the line.
