Core responsibilities will typically include:

  • Provide legal support to renewable projects in Germany.
  • Review and negotiate project/commercials contracts including power purchase, land lease, and consultancy agreements.
  • Support the Project Development team to obtain the necessary permits for the construction and operation of renewable energy projects.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders through provision of a high level of service and prompt, practical and commercially focussed advice.
  • Advise on company law, corporate governance, and legal compliance for entities in Germany.

Expected Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified Lawyer in Germany.
  • Relevant post qualified experience (1 year +) in public law in Germany.
  • Experience gained in-house or in a tier 1 practice.
  • Strong technical legal skills, combined with strategic & commercial mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build 'trusted adviser’ relationships.
  • Demonstrable record of significant contribution to relevant transactions or projects.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Proficient with MS Office
