We're seeking a Leasehold Enfranchisement Lawyer to join our clients national Residential team, which is part of their broader Real Estate division.

The team serves Residential Investment, Public Sector, and House Builder clients and stands as one of the largest dedicated Residential teams in the industry.

Your Responsibilities:

  • In this role, you'll handle lease extension and collective enfranchisement cases, as well as transactions under key legislation (This is including the Leasehold Reform Act 1967, the Leasehold Reform Housing, Urban Development Act 1993 and the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987)
  • Your tasks will include managing statutory lease extension files from start to finish, such as preparing and submitting FTT applications, drafting leases and transfers, and coordinating with Property Litigation colleagues as necessary.
  • Additionally, you'll engage with clients, provide matter estimates and pre-instruction documentation.
  • Also attend client meetings, handle legal reporting, and manage finances effectively.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of PQE experience in leasehold enfranchisement.
  • Previous experience in a Leasehold Enfranchisement practice.
  • Thorough understanding of the sector and market.
  • Capacity to assist the team's broader Residential Investment client base on property management issues and portfolio disposals.
