Exciting term-time only opportunity to join a school located East of Peterborough, supporting with their general HR administration, including cover teacher recruitment and administration.
The role is initially a 4-5month fixed term contract until the end of this academic year, however you will have an opportunity to apply for a permanent role, starting from September.
You must have strong administration experience, including HR and particularly recruitment. Ideally, you will be immediately available, ready to start as soon as your DBS check is complete.
Key HR Admin Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain recruitment documents and adverts
- Coordinate recruitment process and support candidates
- Manage pre-employment checks and documentation
- Assist with absence recording, employee relations meetings, and personnel files
- Maintain and update recruitment systems and records
Key Cover Manager Responsibilities:
- Plan daily staff absence cover and coordinate cover sheet distribution
- Arrange short and long term cover through supply agencies
- Manage safeguarding recruitment checks for supply staff
- Coordinate staffing and room changes for timetable adjustments
- Supervise and train Cover Supervisors for effective lesson coverage
Other info:
- Termtime only (school holidays off)
- Monday-Friday 8.15am - 4pm with a 30min lunch break (total 36.25hours per week)
- Office based at the school
