HR Business Partner
Annual Salary: £45,000
Location: Leatherhead
Job Type: Full-time



We are a compassionate charity organisation looking for an HR Business Partner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in aligning our staff’s talents and efforts with our mission to make a positive impact in the community. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for people management and development.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Act as a single point of the contact for the employees and managers in the organisation.
  • Proactively support the delivery of HR processes and the HR life cycle.
  • Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy.
  • Apply HR and business knowledge evidencing appropriate decision-making skills.
  • Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and share best practice with them.
  • Develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes.
  • Implement learning and development policy.
  • Provide insight and recommendations on HR strategies that will benefit the organisation.
  • Work with the HR department to drive initiatives and projects in areas such as diversity, employee retention and engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner.
  • Strong understanding of employment law.
  • A professional and commercial approach to HR, with the ability to deliver high employee satisfaction, appropriate development and reward for individuals.
  • Excellent people management and communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with key members of the executive team.
  • CIPD or relevant HR qualifications.
  • Ability to represent the HR function as part of the bigger business picture.
  • Confident directing HR and advising managers on all aspects of people management and development.
