Are you a HR Business Partner looking for their next project? Do you have extensive experience with TUPE and Change Management on a mass scale? Reed is working with a national public entity who are looking for a HR Business Partner to join their team on a 5-month, fixed term contract and assist with a Change Management Project.

Location: Home based but will be required to occasionally travel (Own vehicle required. Travel expenses paid)

Contract: 5 months Fixed Term contract

Salary: £150.00 - £200.00 per day (Umbrella or outside IR35)

Hours: 37.5 hours

Start date: a maximum of 2 weeks’ notice

This role will be responsible for coordinating and leading on key change activities required for the successful transition from the current service, working within the implementation team and supporting National Teams.

The role will focus primarily on the smooth transition of c1000 colleagues in and c1000 colleagues out, taking accountability for the TUPE in process and the data integrity of the Employee Liability Information, ensuring that all processes and the management of transferring the incoming colleagues data against our measures is accurately and professionally achieved, highlighting and mitigating any risk to legislation throughout the implementation phase to operational start date (OSCD).

Responsibilities:

  • Part of the People Implementation team that will lead on all change related activity required to enable a successful go live of the new contract in September.
  • Work closely with the People Workstream Lead, HRBP Change & HR Operations Director to prepare the business for operational readiness for OSCD.
  • Is the conduit between the outgoing supplier, HRIS and Payroll, ensuring data integrity for our new colleagues and that we can pay people accurately and on time from day 1.
  • Ensure all HR systems access is appropriate for level of role in new structure.
  • Review incumbent providers policies and practices and identify any change required to transition to policy / procedures.
  • Work closely with the People Workstream Lead – Transition to ensure consistency of TUPEs across the business.
  • Highlight and mitigate any risks associated with the change, work with relevant stakeholders to obtain resolution and mitigate the risk.
  • Support with structure change - Work with the HRBP Change role as required on the change from structure into the new structure.
  • Support line managers in managing change and providing information for transferring managers to support their teams through this upcoming change during the consultation process.
  • Develop processes to track and monitor progress of change. Which identifies any challenges or risks and then work with relevant operational stakeholders to resolve and mitigate.

Requirements:

  • CIPD qualified.
  • Ability to travel, car owner.
  • Extensive large scale TUPE Experience (in and out).
  • Experience of working in a bid environment, incl. preparing bid responses, participating in customer dialogue, leading a workstream.
  • Ability to think creatively and propose change and transformation.
  • Experience of leading on a significant change programme.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to be successful in changing environment.
  • Hold a broad understanding of pension provisions including public sector. arrangements.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with managers at all levels.
  • Excellent working knowledge of employment legislation.
