Finance Systems Manager - Permanent - Bracknell - £70,000-£80,000 +bens

The Finance Systems & Data Manager will bridge the gap between finance and IS, and be based within the European Finance Operations Team of this global brand. You will have responsibility for all SaaS-based Finance Systems and act as the Subject Matter Expert for finance system operations and master data management.

1) Intro:

The Department Manager for Finance Systems and Data offers a unique chance to lead and innovate within the Finance Operations team, bridging the realms of finance expertise and technical innovation. This role will suit either an experienced Systems Accountant with a background in Accountancy who has developed subject-matter expertise within finance systems, or a Systems Manager who has specialised in Financial systems management.

2) The Role:

Sitting within the European Finance Operations team, this role is separate from the IS function but will work closely with IS and finance stakeholders in delivering effective and efficient SaaS-based finance systems. Key tasks include:

• Lead a team responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Finance Systems and Finance Master Data Management.
• Manage the daily support, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Finance Systems landscape, including routine and regulatory changes and updates.
• Contribute towards improving the quality and accuracy of the finance systems and the finance master data to ensure uninterrupted business continuity.
• Liaise closely with finance and business stakeholders to ensure processes are understood and maintain documentation of system-based processes and procedures.
• Develop quality metrics to monitor and report on defects and corrective actions related to Finance Systems.
• Provide regular and timely training on all finance systems to all relevant stakeholders.
• Provide technical and process expertise and guidance to support strategic projects.

SAP ECC6 and SAP S/4 HANA, Coupa, Concur, Cadency, Hyperion

3) About You:

We are seeking an individual with proven team management, change management and relationship management skills. Key is the ability to organise, collaborate and provide governance and oversight on controls for system-based financial transactions.

Your ability to influence senior-level management and key stakeholders, coupled with a highly consultative approach, will set you apart. A Finance Systems Manager or Systems Accountant background would work well for this role.

4) The Offer:
