Finance Director
Trinity House Group are working exclusively with a fantastic privately owned services business based in Birmingham City Centre. This highly profitable business is now experienced large and exciting growth and are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Finance Director to join the team on a part-time basis (Circa 4 days). Working closely with Senior Executives, the Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company and ensuring the financial health and stability of the organisation. This role requires strong leadership abilities, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of financial principles.
The Role:

Develop and implement financial strategies tailored to the needs of our company and sector, aligning with the overall business objectives.

Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, overseeing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Manage financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to support decision-making and optimise financial performance.

Lead the preparation of financial reports, including monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and annual financial statements, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

Collaborate with the Directors and senior leadership team, to drive strategic initiatives, evaluate investment opportunities, and manage risks effectively.

Oversee cash management activities, ensuring adequate liquidity and optimising cash flow through effective cash forecasting and management of banking relationships.

Manage tax planning and compliance, working closely with external advisors to optimise tax efficiency and ensure adherence to tax regulations.

Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes relevant to independent companies and the property sector, providing strategic guidance and recommendations to senior management.
Skills & Experiences
- Qualified Accountant, ACA/ACCA/CIMA, with experience in FD or FC roles
- Willingness and enthusiasm to progress and succeed within the business.
- Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
- High attention to detail in every aspect of work undertaken ensuring accuracy of reporting and analysis.

- Circa £70,000 FTE
