This is an exciting opportunity for Mid-Level Competition Litigation Associate to join a highly regarded corporate practice based in London.

About the Role

  • The firm are seeking a high-caliber competition litigator with excellent academics to join their client-facing case teams.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in general commercial disputes with exposure to competition law or pure competition litigation.
  • Strong project management skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to work autonomously are essential.
  • Fluency in European languages is valued, and international work opportunities are readily available.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in a portfolio of cases within the competition disputes practice, contributing to strategic decision-making and day-to-day case management.
  • Liaise with external counsel, economists, and funders.
  • Handle claims at the pre-litigation stage, including preparing claim forms and engaging in pre-action protocol correspondence.
  • Manage large-scale disclosure exercises.
  • Prepare witness evidence, assist experts with reports, and pursue interim applications.
  • Contribute to settlement negotiations and business development efforts.
  • Support the firm's learning and development program, including delivering training.
