Due to their ongoing growth the company now seeks a Agriculture Relationship Director to join their busy thriving team & undertake Agricultual lending within the Devon & Cornwall area. Purpose of the Agricultural Relationship Director;

The Agricultural Relationship Director will be responsible for raising the profile of the organisation across the region in the Agricultural space, liaising with farmers, agricultural business, agricultural/farming consultants, industry professionals etc to educate the market as to their proposition and appetite.

The Agricultural Relationship Director will be responsible for originating new Agri lending across all sectors including dairy, arable, livestock etc. You will assess & shape deals & will proactively seek new opportunities to add to the organisation’s growing lending book.

This is a great opportunity to work autonomously and have a real input into shape & scope of lending activity, working for a growing, innovative organisation with an actual appetite to support UK Agricultural business.

Skills of the Agricultural Relationship Director:

• Experience in a bank working in Agricultural lending is essential
• Good understanding of and track record in lending, financial analysis etc, with the attendant credit skills to be able to assess & structure lending in this sector
• Excellent external network and a good profile/presence in the area
• Good track record of business development and origination of new clients
• Possess the ability to work autonomously and will be proactive and self-motivated
