Administrator, Academy in the Arts, temporary opportunity to end of August, £13.15 - £13.74 ph plus holiday pay.

Our client is a prestigious academy in the arts requires an Administrator to play a crucial part in, administering and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate degree, diploma, and certificate programmes.

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and responding to day to day enquiries in the department inbox
  • Receiving applications from students and logging them in the system
  • Process and maintain student records and files
  • Logging Masters applications
  • Invite Masters applications to interview and concessionary tasks`
  • Logging Certificate programme applications
  • Logging Professional applications
  • Create Student Registration Forms
  • Oversee Faculty inbox
  • Respond generic to awards day inquiries
  • Sending out Ad hoc Undergraduate interview invites
  • Posting graduation Certificates

Desired attributes and skills

  • Experience in an administrative capacity in a customer-focused environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy for data input
  • Competent written and oral skills to provide clear and concise information
  • Customer-focused approach with confidence in dealing with enquiries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to build rapport and work with different people
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively and take initiative
  • Strong IT skills using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of financial IT packages and bespoke databases
  • Tact and diplomacy
  • Interest in working in an arts environment
