Overview

If you’re looking to formalise your skills, expand your knowledge, and progress in HR and recruitment, this foundation level Award is for you. It will give you the knowledge and skills to successfully contribute to the resourcing process.

This includes understanding the factors that affect an organisation’s talent planning, recruitment and selection policy, identifying appropriate recruitment and selection methods, contributing to the interviewing process and understanding the importance of effective induction.

The CIPD Level 3 Foundation Award in Resourcing Talent can also be provided in-house. This is a cost-effective approach if you have a number of people who require training. Description

To be awarded the qualification, you must:

• attend the three-day course module, Recruitment, Selection and Resourcing Talent
• complete one skills assessment during the course module
• complete an assessed case study related to the syllabus.

Recruitment, Selection and Resourcing Talent - Duration: 3 days
This course module provides an overview of the recruitment, selection and resourcing process, including preparing for and conducting interviews. The module also provides you with the essential tools for different recruitment and selection methods, explains the legal context of recruitment and selection, and how to select appropriate recruitment channels. The group discussions and role-plays will enable you to understand how best to construct job descriptions and person specifications, and ascertain suitably effective induction processes.

Who is this course for?

This qualification is for you if you’re a support-level HR practitioner/assistant involved in recruitment and selection activities, or a new manager with responsibility for recruitment and selection activities and decisions within your organisation. It’s also suitable if you’re aspiring to, or embarking on, a career in HR or resourcing talent and recruitment and selection.No prior knowledge of recruitment is needed.
