Overview
The Diploma in Digital Metrics and Analytics qualification has been designed specifically for those who already have some marketing knowledge and are looking to improve their digital marketing knowledge with a specialism in web analytics and social media monitoring.
Description
The three modules provide an overview of the digital marketing environment including the use of marketing planning, research and communications both offline and online, the relationship and behaviour of online customers and the various campaign tools available and how best to use them to gain maximum returns, with the final module focusing on the mediums and methods where web analytics and social media monitoring can be utilised and best methods for measuring and evaluating data.
Courses prices listed are inclusive of VAT but all CAM and CIM courses are subject to institute administration and membership fees. Please contact Professional Academy or the CIM for more details.
QUALIFICATION STRUCTURE
Our qualification and award pathways have been structured to reflect the need for a flexible and bite-size approach for today’s marketer.
The digital marketing qualification consists of three modules.
- Marketing Consumer Behaviour
- Digital Marketing Essentials
- Web Analytics & Social Media Monitoring
There are a number of CAM Foundation exemptions available for those who have previously completed a marketing qualification. Please contact our Sales & Admissions team for further information on this.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
You can begin your studies at any time throughout the year and you have three opportunities during the year to submit your module assignments, March, June and December.
The three modules studied through our Complete Learning Package which includes a two-day workshop per module alongside the guided home study programme will usually take approximately 9 months to complete from your enrolment date, although we provide all our students with a maximum of two years support, allowing you to study at a pace that suits your circumstances.

Requirements
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DIPLOMA IN DIGITAL MARKETING
You will need to have achieved at least one of the criteria below to study the Diploma in Digital Marketing qualification:
- suitable competence in a marketing or marketing communications related role
- any recognised UK degree or equivalent level 5 qualification
- relevant level 3 or above qualification e.g. CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing.
If English is not your first language, evidence of at least IELTS level 6.5 or Trinity ISE III/IV will also be required.
