Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for enthusiastic Youth worker, to work in one of our partnerships SEMH Schools in Preston . The role is full time Monday - Friday 8.30am - 3.30 pm working across KS2 and KS3 additionally you may be required to do some 1-2-1 intervention session with literacy and numeracy with several students.
The role is to start as soon as possible - July 2024with the potential to go permanent.
The SEMH school caters for pupils from 8- 16-year-old with and Ofsted rating "Good". The school require a Support Worker who has worked with Mental Health within Secondary and Primary aged children.
The school is looking for someone with the ability to engage and build rapport using your understanding of Mental Health and support background is essential.
As a person-centred youth worker, you will be a dynamic, forward thinking, and pro-active team player, with passion and commitment to holistically supporting pupils and in the afternoons doing individual 1-2-1 intervention session Maths and English with several students.
