Are you a compassionate and experienced Youth Support Worker with a passion for nurturing the mental health of children? If you have a proven track record in supporting the well-being of young minds, your role as a Youth Support Worker in the capacity of a Teaching Assistant is the perfect blend of expertise.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Mental Health Focus: Provide dedicated support to children, with a primary emphasis on their mental health and emotional well-being.

· Collaborative Learning Environment: Collaborate closely with teaching staff to create and maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

· One-on-One Assistance: Offer personalised, one-on-one assistance to students facing mental health challenges, ensuring their unique needs are addressed.

· Behavioural Strategies: Implement effective strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional resilience among students.

· Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with school counsellors and external professionals to address specific mental health needs, fostering a holistic approach.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Support Classroom Instruction: Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

· Behaviour Management: Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere by implementing behaviour management strategies.

· Learning Support: Support students with special educational needs, promoting an inclusive learning environment.

· Progress Monitoring: Keep track of student progress and communicate effectively with teachers and parents.

Requirements:

· Previous experience as a youth worker or support worker for children is highly desirable.

· Passion for Education: A genuine desire to inspire and support the next generation.

· Team Player: Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents to create a positive learning environment.

· Excellent Communication: Engage with students and build strong rapport to facilitate learning.

· Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic educational setting, adapting to the unique needs of each student.

Desirable:

Experience working in schools would be advantageous.
