This role involves providing targeted support to Year 6 students as they prepare for their SATs examinations.

  Year 6 SATs Booster Group Teacher

• Contract Type:
  Temporary (initially), with the possibility of extension

Responsibilities:

• Conducting focused booster sessions for small groups of Year 6 students
• Tailoring instruction to address specific areas of improvement in SATs subjects (Mathematics, English, and Science)
• Providing individualized support to boost confidence and enhance performance
• Collaborating with classroom teachers to align booster content with the curriculum
• Tracking student progress and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  and experience teaching in Key Stage 2
• Familiarity with the Year 6 SATs curriculum and assessment criteria
• Strong communication skills to engage students effectively
