We are recruiting for a Year 5Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Pemberton (WN5) to provide general support to the class teacher. This is a long-term position starting as soon as possible.

This Year 5 Teaching Assistant job will involve supporting the class teacher with the day to day running of the classroom. You will also be expected to work with groups of children and occasionally on a one to one basis as and when required.

This Year 5 Teaching Assistantjob is full-time and the working hours will be 08:30am- 15:30pm Monday to Friday, with a 30 minute lunch break. This Year 5 Teaching Assistant job is to start Monday 15th April 2024 and will continue until Friday 19th July 2024.

• Encourage the child to overcome learning barriers
• Work closely with the child to they are achieving their full potential
• To be Inspirational and highly effective in the classroom
• To be Passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential

  Non-negotiables:

• Have either a relevant childcare qualification Level 2 or Level 3 or above
• Recent experience supporting children in either an education, social care, nursery, community/youth role, college/university placement or any volunteer roles. 
• Be able to display excellent verbal communication as well as the ability to actively listen. 
• Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
