Year 5 Primary Teaching Assistant required – Strong Behaviour Management Skills

Paxton Primary School

Long term, Full time, Immediate Start

The Supply Register is currently working in partnership with Gypsy Hill Federation and Paxton Primary School to find an experienced Teaching assistant with Strong Behaviour Management skills to work within Year 5.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure your pupil/ pupils are engaged in lessons and completing their work as necessary
  • Provide support to your pupil/ pupils both inside and outside of the classroom
  • Assist the class teacher in managing pupils’ behaviour
  • Assist the class teacher with setting up activities and displays when needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an education or childcare role is essential
  • Demonstrated experience within Strong Behaviour Management in an education setting.
  • Must have the Right to Work in the UK
  • Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one
  • Must be able to provide a minimum of 2 references and cover the last 2 years of employment
