Year 5 Teacher

This school is ideally looking for an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher but will consider someone with ECT status. This school is also central to Ellesmere Port and is easily accessible via public transport.

Hays Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with an Ofsted rated "Good" primary school in Ellesmere Port as they are looking for an experienced and motivated Year 5 Teacher for long-term cover due to staff sickness. This is a long-term position that will last until the end of the academic year.

Your new role
In your new role as the Year 5 class teacher you will be planning, preparing and delivering all aspects of learning material to a class of 27 students. You will ensure that all learning material is engaging and stimulating for your new students by working alongside your teaching assistants to utilise all resources available within the classroom and promote positive behaviours. You will identify students shortfalls in all subjects and utilise teaching assistants to ensure that the students do not fall behind, as well as working with students on a 1:1 and group basis as required.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered with your application you must have full "Right to Work" as well as referenceable experience as a teacher, you must also have:

• Experience delivering lessons in line with KS2 national curriculum
• The ability to formulate engaging and stimulating learning material
