Year 5 Teacher

Calling all Upper Key Stage 2 Teachers! Are you a confident Key Stage 2 Teacher with Year 5 teaching experience looking for your next for Summer Term 2024? Tradewind have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are looking for a Year 5 Teacher (ECT or experienced) to cover one term for a primary school in Willenhall. This will run Easter 2024 until Summer 2024. Report writing already done, excellent TA in the class and a pretty cushty role in a really nice school. There may be possibility to start a week or so earlier than Easter hols to do a handover week etc.

Your main responsibilities in this role will include.

Undertake full class teaching responsibilities for a Year 5 class.

Thoroughly planning lessons for a Year 5 class, making full use of resources that are available to you.

Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils, as well as their personal and social needs.

Teaching a balanced curriculum and ensuring that each child fulfils his or her potential by providing high levels of teaching standards.

Creating a supportive learning environment as well fulfilling the social and emotional needs of all the children in your care.

Essential requirements:

Fully qualified Teacher Status or ECT Status

Recent experience or training in a UK Primary School

Experience in Keys Stage 2 is desired, experience in Year 5 is desired but not essential

A proven track record with references to support this.
