Year 5 Primary Teacher

We are recruiting for a Primary Teacher for a Primary School in Oldham ( OL9 ) to work on a long-term basis starting as soon as possible and running until the end of July 2024. This role is working 5 x full days per week Monday to Friday 08:30am- 16:00pm. Whether you are at the start of your teaching career, or an experienced teacher, this role could be for you.

Your role & responsibilities:

• Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete their work
• Guiding students through the curriculum, marking working, setting home working tasks
• Managing behaviour
• Upholding school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons

Non-negotiables:

• You must have relevant experience teaching pupils
• Hold QTS
• Knowledge of the national curriculum
• Be passionate and understanding
• Have confidence in managing classes of pupils
• Excellent organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
• Good communication skills
