Year 4 Teacher– Prep School– Notting Hill

This is an attractive opportunity for a year 4 teacher to become a valued member of a sophisticated and supportive team in a welcoming, highly regarded primary school located in Notting Hill starting September.

The role

As an experienced and capable year 4 teacher, this role has a great deal to offer. As a key function of the role, you will be upheld to high standards of academic excellence with pupils and must be confident in upkeeping the pupils’ progress. You will be working in a close-knit team, and often 1:1 with pupils.

As a year 4 teacher, you will also be responsible for using a variety of teaching delivery methods appropriate to the individual learning styles, and the varying demands of the curriculum, with the aid of a friendly and encouraging team. You must be skilled in lesson planning and open to participating in extra-curricular activities.

The ideal candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Must have at least 2 years’ experience teaching year 4
  • Willing to participate in extra-curricular activities
  • Proof of academic excellence
  • High enthusiasm
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Passion for teaching and student success
  • Capability of ensuring pupils safety
