Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are currently seeking a KS2 Teacher to join a happy and stimulating Primary School in the BS34 area of South Gloucestershire.

This 1 form entry Primary School promotes the development of self-confidence and high academic achievement. They work closely with families as they believe that families know their pupils best.

The Role

This position is to start from September on a full-time basis.

The Head Teacher is looking for an enthusiastic candidate, someone who has a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, someone who can bring a creative and exciting approach to their teaching.

ECTs are welcome to apply.

You will be expected to:

  • Differentiate and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all children.

  • Communicate effectively with other Key Stage Teachers.

  • Work closely with the class Teaching Assistant to provide the best support for SEND children.

  • Have a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.

  • Build on pupil’s learning gaps by challenging and encouraging their development.

  • Build strong relationships with the children’s families.
