About this role

I work on behalf of a primary school that is looking for a Year 4 Teacher to join their exceptional team. This school is an ambitious and inclusive place to learn, whilst the students are highly supported to encourage great progress. As being a maternity cover teacher, you would need to uphold this atmosphere within the year 4 classroom whilst building brand new relationships with the children.

This school is adamant on students feeling like a team, so it is important that as a Year 4 Teacher, you are collaborative, valiant and supportive towards the students during this role. This job requires a bachelor in teaching (QTS). Previous experience is not essential, but preferred and passion to maintain the great quality of the school’s education and morals.

This role will include:

  • Organise and manage a classroom

  • Teaching all pupils in your class according to their educational needs

  • Creating a well structured and positive environment

  • Identifying clear objectives of how the students will be taught and assessed throughout the year

  • Building relationships with the pupils, the parents and the faculty
