We are working in partnership with a community-based Catholic St Helens Primary school to recruit an energetic Year 4 teacher to start after May half-term.
A successful candidate should be able to interview quickly with a view to starting their new role in conjunction with term commitments.
The school promotes a nurturing environment for both staff and pupils and is keen to meet passionate educators.

The school is passionate about reading and enrichment opportunities for children and does have additional needs in the mainstream environment. They are looking for someone who is confident with their behaviour management and ask confident ECT's to apply, and it will be extended to the Summer 2024 term for the right applicant.

Your new company.
Your new school sets high standards for both staff and children and incorporates the values of ambition, respect, and courage. You will be expected to establish effective communication and build long-lasting relationships with both students and staff. You will be expected to immerse yourself in up-and-coming community extracurricular events and strengthen existing community relationships. Your new school is enthusiastic about enabling curiosity in children and promotes an enthusiastic approach to current and new teaching practices. They have lots of outdoor areas and nature walks near the school, and they use these areas to develop pupils' love for nature.

Your new role.
Your new role will include all aspects of lesson planning and preparation. You will deliver to Year 4 pupils and follow the values and standards of the school. You will be engaging in and monitoring behaviour management in a variety of ways and incorporating a myriad of Behaviour for Learning methods. You will be ensuring pupil engagement and differentiating material to suit attainment needs. You will be required to collaborate with other staff members to boost student engagement. You will work closely with school SENDCo and Pastoral teams to provide tracking information and support information to SLT teams. You will be given CPD opportunities in line with the school calendar.

What you will need to succeed.

  • Recent experience of Teaching in Primary school.
  • Provide relevant references.
  • Have QTS or ECT status.
  • Knowledge of primary curriculum.
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and flexibility.
  • Highly motivated and driven to exceed expectations.
  • Up-to-date DBS preferred (Hays can supply if needed).
  • ECT's will be considered.
