About your role as a Year 4 Class Teacher
As a Year 4 Class Teacher, your role will include but is not limited to: * Delivering a broad and balanced curriculum in line with school policy.
* Teaching from planned objectives, which take account of differentiation to achieve progression in pupil's learning, setting clear targets for pupils' learning based on prior attainment.
* Set, mark, and monitor the pupils' assigned work, including homework.
* Fulfil the school's and national assessment, recording and reporting system as appropriate.
* Manage, with support, the work of Learning Support Assistants and other helpers in class to enhance children's learning.
* Take part fully in primary school duties such as supervising playtimes, taking whole school assemblies and class assemblies.

A successful candidate will: * Hold all necessary qualifications suited to the post.
* Have recent experience of working in the education system.
* Have good interpersonal skills.
* Show good standards of professionalism, being well-organised and capable of working to policy and procedure to agreed timescales.
