  • MP1 - UPS3 payscale - Outer London
  • TLR available for a Year Group Lead

The successful Year 2 teacher will need to:

  • Be a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE or a Bachelor of Education. Early Careers Teacher (ECT) will also be considered
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to Year 2 pupils
  • Have good behaviour management skills
  • Be creative, proactive and a team player

Academics Ltd are looking for a Year 2 Teacher to work with a Primary school in the London Borough of Barnet from April 2024.

The ideal Year 2 teacher will be familiar with and have previously taught the UK Curriculum. The Year 2 Teacher appointed will be expected to offer engaging and forward-thinking lessons with the help of their teaching assistant. The teacher must be committed and have a passion for caring for children in their early and formative years.

The primary school in Barnet are well established, well attended and a popular three form entry school within Barnet. The Head Teacher allows all teachers to have creative freedom with their lessons. The Head Teacher promotes mental, physical and emotional well-being across the school for staff and pupils alike.
