Year 2 Primary Teacher

- Contract Type: Daily, Short-Term and Long-Term
- Salary: starting at £140 per day!
Reed Education work with and support many primary schools throughout Wakefield providing high-quality education. I am looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Primary Teachers to foster a positive learning environment and contribute to thestudents’ academic and personal development.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and state standards.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
- Foster a love for learning and encourage student curiosity through engaging and innovative teaching methods.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching strategies.
- Support positive behaviour and maintain a safe and orderly learning space for all students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2) students is highly desirable.
- A passion for education and a commitment to fostering student success.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
