Year 1 Teaching Assistant

A brilliant, modern and thriving Primary School in Harrow are looking for an outgoing, creative and passionate Year 1 Teaching Assistant to add value to their supportive and successful team. This role will begin ASAP as a full time, long term role in a KS1 classroom.

The ideal candidate for a Year 1 Teaching Assistant would have experience working with children and have a passion for providing pupils with an enriched, exciting, supportive environment.

This role is perfect for those aspiring to be Primary School Teachers, Speech and Language Therapists, Counsellors, Educational Psychologists!

About the Year 1 Teaching Assistant role:

  • £105-110 per day
  • Starting ASAP
  • Full time, long term, term time only
  • Based in Harrow
  • Providing support to pupils in a Year 1 classroom
  • Group work, completing interventions
  • Working closely with SEN students and using bespoke methods to teach and communicate
  • Using creativity and imagination to engage the students

About you as a Year 1 Teaching Assistant:

  • Previous work with children
  • Graduate with a 2:1 or 1st class
  • Passion for teaching and able to create an inspirational environment for children to flourish within
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
