We are looking for a year 1 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team at a primary school based in the Wakefield area. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a school setting and will be able to provide support to the class teacher. You will also be responsible for carrying out a range of administrative tasks, such as keeping records and preparing resources.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to the class teacher in the classroom.
  • Help children with their work.
  • Carry out administrative tasks.
  • Prepare resources.

Qualifications and relevant experience:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths.
  • Experience working with children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This role is full time and will start after the May half term break on the 7th November and continue until July 2024 with the possibility of being extended in to the new academic year, this role also offers a daily rate of pay at £90 - £100, dependent on experience.
