Sanza Teaching Agency is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Greenwich, London, for a maternity cover position starting in September. Role Overview: As a Year 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for providing engaging and interactive lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting the development of foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social development. You will work closely with colleagues to deliver the school's curriculum effectively and contribute to the overall well-being and progress of pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and differentiated lessons for Year 1 students.
• Assess and monitor pupils' progress, providing constructive feedback and support where necessary.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work, resources, and assessment strategies.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on pupils' progress and well-being.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably within a Year 1 setting.
• Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum and effective teaching practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young learners.
• Commitment to promoting a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
