Year 1 Teaching Assistant - Wakefield

We are particularly interested in speaking with TAs with a strong background in phonics, specifically Letters and Sounds. As a TA, your primary focus will be on supporting pupils in Year 1 in Primary Schools in Wakefield. Your expertise in phonics, specifically Letters and Sounds, will be instrumental in helping these young learners build a strong foundation in reading and writing. This is a position with immediate availability.

Requirements:

• GCSEs in Maths and English grade A-C or equivalent
• CACHE Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• A genuine passion for working with young learners and a commitment to their growth.
• A solid background in phonics, with expertise in Letters and Sounds.
• Experience of working with children in a school or education based setting for at least 1 year.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
