As a Year 1 Class Teacher, you will play a key role in providing students with a solid foundation for their academic journey. You will deliver high-quality and engaging lessons, utilising a range of teaching strategies and resources to meet the individual needs of every child. Working closely with teaching assistants and other staff members, you will create a positive and engaging classroom environment, fostering a love for learning and fostering the development of essential skills.

To be successful in this Year 1 Teacher role, you will possess the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
• Creative and innovative teaching methods, tailoring lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
• Strong behavioural management skills and a range if defusing methods to address this- if necessary.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, colleagues, and parents.
• A positive and flexible attitude, with a genuine passion for working with children.
