YARD OPERATIVE/VAN DRIVER - ONGOING (T2P) - IMMEDIATE START - DAYS

Our client based in Milton Keynes currently has a vacancy for Yard Shunters.

Hours: 
  • 0900 - 2100
  • Shift: 4 on, 4 off
  • Rate: £13.60 ph (days)
  • Overtime: £20.40 ph


As a Yard Shunter, your main duties will be to ensure smooth running of the yard, taking a very hands-on approach and able to adapt to a multitude of requirements as and when required. You will use your own initiative and identify tasks and duties to be completed throughout your workday.

Duties include:
  • Moving vehicles of all categories around the yard.
  • Offloading empty trays from vehicles.
  • Washing vehicles
  • Fuelling vehicles.
  • Ensuring the yard remains clean, tidy and operational at all times.
  • Vehicle checks.

Successful Applicants
  • Successful applicants will have previous driving experience.
  • You will hold a UK driving license with less than 3 points.
  • You will be physically fit, due to the nature of the role a lot of walking is involved.
