Rapier Employment are recruiting for a Yard Operative to join our well-established client based in Radley, Oxfordshire to join their expanding team. 

Job role: Yard Operative
Salary: £13.00 per hour - Overtime paid on higher rate
Expected hours: 45 hours per week

Duties to include and are not limited to:
  • Cleaning equipment and making sure the washer is maintained.
  • Keeping the yard clean and tidy at all times.
  • Support with loading and unloading of trucks when/if required.
  • Complete paperwork when required and provide to supervisor.
  • Flexible to travel to customer sites when/if required to support with installation of equipment.
  • The role is Monday to Friday but overtime is available through the week and weekend.

As a Yard Operative, you will need to have good communication skills and time management and be able to work as part of a team and independent. This is a physical role and requires someone to be outside in all weather conditions.

Due to the location of site, you will need to have a licence and own transport. No public transport is available in the area.

My client provides full training and invests heavily in the right candidate. They have development opportunities and ability to progress within the company. All PPE is supplied at a high quality.

CSCS is beneficial, but not essential as they will put you through the appropriate level.
