Yard Operations Manager

Our client is an established family business in the Measham area. From a busy network of depots they provide temporary working space to meet a number of client needs.

As Ops / Yard Manager you are responsible for scheduling and supervising the work for the operatives making sure everything is delivered on time and to budget, along with the management of tools and materials required.

General duties will entail:

• Health & safety including the management of RAMS
• Reporting accidents, near misses, etc
• Take overall responsibility for quality of units
• Project management including ensuring all equipment is readily available
• Accountable for workshop costs
• Attend meetings and training sessions
• Ensure training is carried out in line with company needs
• Responsible for new starters
• Absence management
• Responsibility for disciplinary procedures for the ops team
