Yard Marshall

Acorn by Synergie is looking for experienced Logistics Admin / Yard Marshall for their client in the Newport area.

Working with a team of like minded people in a fast-paced environment this role offers progression and stability.

Candidates with experience within a Transport, Logistics, Warehouse background are encouraged to apply.

Rate of pay:

* £14.00 per hour
* Nights 5/7 per week

Candidates must be willing to work days, nights and weekends as required. Shifts will be allocated to you a week in advance.

Key Skills:

* Experience of Export paperwork
* Booking drivers in and out of the bay
* Banksman duties - Directing the HGV drivers
* The role involves a lot of walking so must be physically fit

Personal Attributes:

* I.T skills are paramount and must be of a high standard
* Ability to work alone or as part of a team
* Needs to be able to prioritise workload
* Due to the location and start times must be a driver with own vehicle
