As a wrap around care worker, you will be working in one of our local schools to support their after school club after school hours. This is a temporary contract and you must be able to commit to the hours 15:00-18:00 Monday-Friday. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like a role in a primary setting outside of the traditional school hours, or someone who is looking for experience working in a school.

Your responsibilities & requirements:

• Be a fun and engaging member of staff to support children in their after school club
• Work with other team members to create an exciting and safe environment
• Adhere to Safeguarding policies and school behaviour policies
• Liaise with parents and carers at pick-up times
• Be aware of general first aid + willing to undertake any training provided by the school
• Take part in providing after school snacks to children at the wrap around care club
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Experience working with children (desirable)
