Position: HGV Workshop Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead routine maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles with a focus on senior-level expertise.
  • Apply advanced diagnostic skills to efficiently troubleshoot mechanical issues, adhering to stringent manufacturer specifications.
  • Proactively respond to emergency call-outs, providing effective leadership during breakdowns.
  • Collaborate with the team, offering senior-level guidance to ensure optimal fleet functionality.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a HGV Mechanic in a similar role, highlighting advanced proficiency.
  • Education to City and Guilds standard in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Possession of a comprehensive set of advanced tools for performing tasks at a senior level.
  • Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing.
  • A valid driver's license and proficiency in using a company-provided van.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required, setting an example for the team.
