Role: Workshop Manager - Safety Equipment

Location: Irthlingborough, Northamptonshire, NN9

Hours of work: 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday (1 hour unpaid lunch)

Basic Salary: £32,500 per annum.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a forward-thinking and dynamic manufacturing company who specialise in safety equipment. They're a well recognised business within their industry, for providing all round quality safety equipment solutions.

In this Workshop Manager role, you'll be responsible for;

• Managing day to day operations of a busy workshop
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Working closely with with service centre channel partners, ensuring the workshop is compliant at all times
• Dealing with customer complaints
• Promoting Health & Safety, as well as welfare throughout the workshop
• Ensure training of staff is all up to date

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience within a workshop environment
• To be mechanically minded to be able to support and guide a team of workshop technicians
• Have the ability to make good judgement
• To be self motivated
• To be able multi-task whilst ensuring accuracy
• Strong communication skills
• To be computer literate- Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of safety equipment is desirable but not essential
