Workshop Fitter 

£Negotiable depending on experience / Full or Part Time 

A permanent position for a workshop fitter due to our client being busy with a strong and constant work flow and an employee retiring. The company is a small and very friendly engineering company based in Ellington, Huntingdon. 

The hours of work for the Workshop Fitter can be either full time or part time, the company are very flexible.

Full time hours would be 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday 45 hours. Part Time could be shorter days or a shorter week. 

The duties for the Workshop Fitter 

  • Stripping , identifying problems, rebuilding and testing of cylinders. 
  • A good understanding of tools, being hands on.
  • Any previous experience in Hydraulics and welding mig or tig would be an advantage.
  • Working as part of a small team, checking for quality and health and safety at all times.
