Workshop Assistant
Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Workshop Assistant to join their team in Winchester. As a Workshop Assistant, you will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring the smooth operation of metal finishing techniques, assembly work, and various machining tasks.
- Perform product finishing tasks such as brass polishing, chemical finishing (bronzing), and spray painting.
- Conduct assembly work, including the assembly of wiring components
- Utilise machining tools such as a pillar drill, lathe, and hand tools to complete assigned tasks.
- Carry out bonding processes such as welding and soldering.
- Prior experience in metal finishing, assembly, or related fields is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated timelines.
