Working Foreman - Roofing

Title: Working Foreman.

Salary: Up to £45K.

Location: West London.

We are looking for a working Site Foreman / Manager to join our team that would have the following requirements:

• Minimum of five years experience in General Building or of a similar role.
• Excellent all round knowledge of Building and Construction, with particular knowledge in Carpentry.
• Ability to see the job through to completion.
• Own hand tools.
• Driving licence and own transport.

Responsibilities would include:

• This position is for a self employed Subcontractor that can oversee a variety of projects that would include renovation and extension work to private properties, new build projects, and small scale commercial building and renovation work also.
• You will also be responsible for other subcontractors and will be opening up and locking up the site each day.
• You will need to be a team player with the ability to see through the successful completion of the overall project and should lead by example in all that you do.
• As part of a team, you will have the ability to get involved in all aspects of the job and also have the ability to work off own initiative.
• You will be working under the supervision of an offsite contracts manager and should liaise on a daily basis to ensure that they are fully aware of project progress and is notified of all financial, specification and time risks ensuring that all additional work is identified.
• The right applicant will be self-motivated and be able to set very high standards of workmanship with good product knowledge.
