We have an exciting opportunity for a cutting-edge WordPress Developer to join a dynamic digital design and development agency based in the Reading area. Our client creates impressive digital solutions for B2B clients, including large and prestigious 'household-name’ companies. Working closely with their team of designers and developers, you will be responsible for producing robust and innovative websites, web applications and digital marketing materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies

  • Discuss and create from scratch impressive WordPress sites with clients and providing innovative new ideas to solutions

  • Provide accurate timing estimates on work

  • Becoming closely integrated into the development team, collaborating and sharing ideas, supporting other team members

Requirements:

  • At least 2+ years developing WordPress website

  • Experience developing websites from scratch is essential (not using templates)

  • Solid working knowledge of HTML(5) and CSS(3)

  • Experience developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions

  • Knowledge and experience with JQuery

  • Bespoke PHP development / API connections

  • Knowledge or experience with LAMP stack would be advantageous
