The Redline Group have an exciting opportunity for a Wireman role based in Bedford to join a fast-paced team at our customers' state of the art manufacturing workshop in Bedfordshire.

The company are leading in their field with a significant global presence and specialise in electronic enclosures and systems for critical industries, Aerospace and Defence.

Main Requirements & Responsibilities for the Wireman role based in Bedford

  • Ensure manufactured products meet the require quality culture.
  • Working in a small team of specialised assembly technicians assembling complex, high value electronic products in small/medium volumes.
  • Build wiring looms, cable assemblies and connectors from design drawings and kits to the agreed build standards and timeframes.
  • Competent reading complex engineering drawings, diagrams and BOM`S.
  • Produce neat and intricate wiring.
  • Make recommendations to improve process efficiency.
  • Knowledge of tools and instruments of the wiring trade such as Daniels Tools, Connectors and Crimping Tools.

Key Skills Required the Wireman role based in Bedford

  • IPC620 Qualification or understanding
  • Experience working with 38999 Daniels connectors or military wiring experience
  • Experience working in the Defence industry
